                                  Bereits in frühen Jahren zeichnete sich ihre Leidenschaft ab, nämlich die                                                        Kombination aus Stimme und Klavierspiel, worauf sie bis heute  - sowohl auf der                                          Bühne, als auch in ihrem Unterricht - ihren Schwerpunkt setzt. Nach ihren                                                        abgeschlossenen Studien (Gesangspädagogik und Klavier Popularmusik) an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien gründete sie 2011 gemeinsam mit Mario Mrazek die Stagelab Academy. Sie absolvierte ein Auslandsjahr an der Eastman School of Music in New York, USA und studierte Jazz-Theorie an der Privatuniversität Konservatorium Wien.

Zu ihren bisherigen künstlerischen Projekten zählen Filmproduktionen (Filmfestival „Lost and Found“ in Rochester, NY, Filmakademie Wien), Theater- und ORF-Produktionen (Kooperation mit dem jungen Volkstheater, Kinderoper „Pollicino“ von H. W. Henze), darüber hinaus Galas für Licht ins Dunkel und die Songcontest-Vorentscheidung 2012. Durch ihre künstlerische Tätigkeit bei Bands wie Babsea, Mary Broadcast Band, Nátalia Kelly Band, u. a. sowie durch ihre Arbeit als Studiomusikerin ist sie auf zahlreichen Aufnahmen, CD-Produktionen und Radiojingles zu hören. Sie ist Pianistin bei der Improvisationstheater Gruppe Quintessenz und des Impro-Kabarett-Duos GeBa&GeSch, mit dem sie bereits mehrere Wettbewerbe gewann.

Zu ihren zusätzlichen künstlerischen Ausbildungen zählen regelmäßige Camera Acting- und Method Acting Workshops (Jerry Coyle, Kirk Baltz), Weiterbildungen im Bereich Circle Singing (Kooperation mit Circle Singing Rom, Circle Singing NY, Christiane Karam, Zuza Gonçalves, Bobby McFerrin) sowie ein „Creative Music Training“ an der Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

Ihre pädagogischen Tätigkeiten beinhalten Lehraufträge als Gesangsdozentin an der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, Institut für Popularmusik, am Vienna Konservatorium (Division Pop), an der Popakademie der Johann Sebastian Bach Musikschule, sowie der Schauspielschule Wien. Sie doziert auf der Sommerakademie in Zakynthos und war offizieller Stage- und Vocalcoach für die Puls4-Castingshow “Herz von Österreich”. Momentan arbeitet sie am Album ihres Pop-Duos SILK + MILK. <<

                                Julia is a singer, keyboarder, songwriter and piano and voice teacher. In her early age                                  it soon became clear that her passion is the combination of piano and voice until                                          today - on stage as well as in her classes.

She graduated at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, in Pop Voice and Keyboards. 2011 she co-founded the Stagelab Academy focusing on performance for singers. She deepend her Jazz Piano and Compositional studies during her year at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York and the University of the City of Vienna (MUK).

Her projects to date include engagments for film scoring (Filmfestival „Lost and Found“, Filmacademy Vienna), for theater (Junges Volkstheater Wien, improvisational theater) and TV. 2015 she was the official stage and vocal coach of the Austrian TV casting show „Herz von Österreich“. Her further trainings include regular Method Acting Workshops (with Kirk Baltz and Jerry Coyle) as well as Circle Singing studies and cooperations with CS Rome, CS NY, Christiane Karam, Zuza Gonçalves, Bobby Mc Ferrin and a „Creative Music Training“ at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

She taught at the pop department of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, at the Vienna Conservatory and Popakademie Vienna and brings a wealth of experience working with students either one-to-one or groups of all ages and backgrounds.

 

Julia is gigging internationally and is part of numerous CD productions and radio jingles as keyboarder and singer. Currently she is working on her Album with her Pop Duo SILK + MILK.
